Why We Built a Factory in Thailand: Strategic Expansion for a More Resilient, Customer-Focused Supply Chain

In early 2024, right after Chinese New Year, our leadership team traveled to Thailand. The goal was clear — build a new production base closer to our global customers.
This move was a strategic response to ongoing global shifts. In recent years, trade tensions, especially between China and the U.S., have increased uncertainty. Tariffs and policy changes made it harder to deliver stable and cost-effective supply. We needed a smarter solution.
Thailand stood out as the ideal choice. Here’s why:
- Trade-Friendly Policies: As part of ASEAN, Thailand enjoys multiple free trade agreements. This helps reduce tariffs and ease market access.
- Strategic Location: Our site is in a duty-free zone near Laem Chabang Port, one of Southeast Asia’s busiest seaports.
- Government Incentives: The Thai government actively supports foreign investment with tax benefits and simplified procedures.
- Strong Manufacturing Base: Thailand has skilled labor, good infrastructure, and a mature supply chain.
After securing the site, we moved fast. We registered the company, secured licenses, and began construction. Equipment installation and testing followed. In parallel, we prepared for global certifications.
By September 2024, the factory started production.
The facility covers 8,000 square meters. It’s equipped with advanced automation and a smart warehouse. Monthly output exceeds 80 containers. We produce a full range of sustainable paper packaging — cups, bowls, trays, clamshells, chip cups, and paper bags.
We’ve passed key certifications, including FSSC, ISO, BRC, and BSCI. These reflect our focus on quality, safety, and social responsibility.
This expansion strengthens our ability to serve clients worldwide. With a more agile, diversified supply chain, we offer faster lead times, more flexibility, and greater reliability — no matter the global climate.
