The 32oz bagasse bowl is a 208mm body with 61mm of depth and a 25g wall — the heaviest single-portion bowl we mould. It is built for food that arrives with volume and weight: noodle soup, rice bowls with toppings, loaded salads, poke.
32oz versus 40oz: same rim, different depth
Both bowls are 208mm across. The 32oz is 61mm deep; the 40oz is 70mm. That 9mm decides the use case. Noodles, stir-fries and grain bowls want the shallower profile because they are served with a fork or chopsticks and the customer needs to reach the food. Broth-heavy dishes want the extra depth so the bowl is not filled to the rim before the liquid is added.
Why the wall is 25g
A large bowl carries a large load, and fibre bowls fail at the base and at the rim rather than in the wall. The 25g wall on the 32oz keeps the base flat under a full portion, so the bowl sits stable on a tray instead of rocking. On a delivery run that is the difference between a clean handover and a leak in the bag.
Carton maths at this size
The 32oz packs 125 per sleeve, 4 sleeves per carton — 500 pieces per carton, 48.5×22×43.7cm. Volume per piece is higher than the 24oz (600 per carton), so if your portion sits between the two, the 24oz is the cheaper freight choice. Ask us for a container calculation once your mix is fixed.
Operational fit
Noodle bars, poke and grain-bowl concepts, restaurant delivery lines and catering where a single bowl has to carry a full meal. Stackable empty, nestable when filled to a reasonable level.
Questions buyers ask
Is there a lid? Lid compatibility follows the 208mm diameter. Tell us whether the bowl travels and we will confirm the match.
Can it handle very hot broth? The bowl is pressed in one piece with no seam. For broth at serving temperature, specify the dish so we quote the appropriate grade.
What is the smallest order for a custom print? Share your artwork and target volume and we will respond with what is feasible.
