The 40oz bowl is the deepest moulded bowl in the sugarcane range — 208mm wide, 70mm deep, 28g. It is the SKU you specify when the dish is mostly liquid and the portion is a full meal: pho, ramen, laksa, congee, stew, family-size soup.
Depth is the whole point
A 70mm wall gives room for broth plus noodles plus garnish without the fill line reaching the rim, which is where most takeaway soup failures start. If you are currently double-cupping or bagging bowls to survive delivery, the 40oz usually removes that step.
Where the leak actually happens
Pressed fibre bowls are seamless, so the bowl body is not the weak point — the lid interface is. Two things decide whether a 40oz travels cleanly: whether the lid matches the 208mm rim, and how much headspace is left. We recommend specifying the lid together with the bowl rather than sourcing them separately.
Carton and container loading
50 per sleeve, 8 sleeves per carton — 400 pieces per carton, 51.5×22.3×44cm. Per-piece freight on the 40oz is the highest in the bowl range; if your portion only occasionally needs the full 40oz, running the 32oz as the default and the 40oz as the large option is usually cheaper than standardising on the biggest bowl.

Questions buyers ask
Can one lid fit 32oz and 40oz? Both share the 208mm diameter, so lid fit is determined by that rim — confirm with us before assuming a single lid covers both.
Does the bowl get soft with hot liquid? The 28g wall is the heaviest in the range for exactly this reason. Tell us your serving temperature and hold time.
Is it freezer-safe? Do not assume it — state your cold-chain requirement when you inquire.
